Custom Jewelry
A custom piece does not have to start with a perfect sketch or a fully formed idea. It can start with a stone, an older piece of jewelry, a photo, or just a detail you know you like.
We work with you to figure out what makes sense for the piece. That includes the stone, the setting, the metal, the proportions, and how it will actually be worn. The goal is not to make something complicated for the sake of it. The goal is to make something that feels right, looks balanced, and holds up over time.
-
We create custom rings, necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets, and special occasion pieces. We can also work with stones or jewelry you already own, including older family pieces that need to be reset or redesigned.
Common projects include:
Custom gemstone rings
Engagement rings
Pendants and necklaces
Earrings and bracelets
Stone resetting
Heirloom redesigns
Special occasion pieces
Pieces inspired by antique or estate jewelry -
1) Bring in what you have
That might be a stone, an old ring, a broken piece, a photo, or just an idea. You do not need to know the technical terms or have the design figured out.
2) We look at the piece carefully
If you are bringing in existing jewelry, we look at what can be used, what should be repaired, and what may need to be changed. If you are starting from scratch, we talk through stones, settings, metals, and the general direction.
3) We narrow down the design
A good custom piece comes from making the right small decisions. Scale, shape, setting height, stone placement, and durability all matter. We help guide those choices so the piece feels natural, not overdesigned.
4) The piece is made or redesigned
Once the direction is clear, the work begins. Depending on the project, that can mean making a new setting, resetting stones, sourcing materials, or changing an older piece into something more wearable.
-
Older jewelry often has more meaning than wearability. A ring may have a beautiful stone but an outdated setting. A brooch might have details worth preserving but no longer fit the way someone dresses. A pendant may need a new chain, new proportions, or a different use entirely.
We help decide what should stay, what can change, and how to make the piece feel wearable again without stripping away what made it important in the first place.
-
If you already have a stone, we can design around its shape, color, size, and character. If you are looking for a stone, we can help source one and talk through what works best for the kind of piece you want.
Not every stone works in every setting. Part of the process is making sure the design fits the material, not forcing the material into a design that does not suit it.
-
You do not need to come in with a finished plan. Bring the piece, the stone, the photo, or the idea. We can talk through what is realistic, what will look best, and what direction makes the most sense.
